Food Pantry & Clothing Closet
Food Pantry & Clothing Closet Weekly Food Load
Every Friday volunteers are needed to help pick up the food order from River Bend Food Bank at 8:30 am (contact Anne). Volunteers are needed at church to help unload the vehicles that were loaded at RiverBend Food Bank and to stock the shelves & other areas at 9:00 am at All Saints.
Note: Friday, October 16th is the delivery by RiverBend Food Bank to the church, and it is a large order (10,000+ pounds)!
Food Pantry & Clothing Closet Donations
Donations are accepted on Fridays 9 – 11 am and Saturdays 9 – 10 am. Monetary donations may be mailed to the church office.
Saturdays
They are open to the public from 10 am – 12 pm on Saturdays. Several volunteers are needed during this time to operate smoothly.
Worship
The Sunday worship service is at 10 am on Sunday mornings. See the article titled “Worship Information & Opportunities” for more specific information about worship.
Three23co
Three23co, homeschool group, will meet once a week in the gathering space of the church. They will use the space from 8 am to 12 pm every Tuesday for the 2026-2027 school year (09.15.2026 – 03.30.2027). Please be aware of their class time (8:30 – 11:30 am) and do not disturb them. They will be utilizing the gathering space, the library, and the outside church lawn/lower parking lot for recess time when the weather permits.
Fit4Mom – Stroller Strides Class
Fit4Mom – Stroller Strides Class will meet occasionally on Tuesdays in the fellowship hall from 5:30 – 6:30 pm between May and October.

West Music Company, Music Therapy – SoundReach Choir
Sound Reach is a vocal music-making opportunity for groups or individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities. The group will rehearse on Tuesdays from 5:45 – 6:30 pm in the sanctuary at church for their fall session (08.18.2026 – 10.27.2026). Mark your calendar for the fall concert on Tuesday, October 27th – all are welcome to attend.

The next council meeting will be on Tuesday, October 13th at 6 pm in the church library.
Fall Centerpiece Crafting Event
Julie will lead a crafting workshop to create a fall centerpiece on Wednesday, October 14th at 6 pm in the gathering space. You will need to bring a pumpkin and artificial fall flowers with you to create the centerpiece. Contact Julie for more information.
Safer Foundation Trivia Night
Safer Foundation is hosting a trivia night on Friday, October 16th at the Columbus Club (1111 W. 35 St, Davenport) beginning at 6:30 pm – doors open at 6 pm. This is a fundraiser to support Safer Foundation’s work in the Quad Cities. $15/person or $120 for a table of 8. Space is limited so reserve your table early. Rhythm City Casino Event
All Saints Lutheran Church will volunteer at the “Kansas” concert on Friday, October 23rd at the Rhythm City Casino in Davenport. The concert begins at 8 pm, doors open at 7 pm, so the volunteers need to meet at 6:15 pm in designated spot. Please note that all volunteers must enter and exit the venue together. Daylight Savings Time Ends
Daylight Savings Time ends at 2 am on Sunday, November 1st. Don’t forget to change your clocks if you need to manually change them (“fall back” one hour).
All Saints Day
During worship on Sunday, November 1st All Saints Lutheran Church will have a remembrance during the worship service for those who have gone before us. There is a sign-up sheet on the kiosk in the gathering space to sign your loved one’s name if you wish to have it read aloud during worship and light a candle in their memory.
Worship Planning
The worship planning team will meet on Wednesday, November 11th at 4 pm in the church library. At this meeting they will plan the seasons of Advent and Christmas.
Thanksgiving Gathering
All Saints Lutheran Church invites you to attend the annual Thanksgiving Gathering following worship on Sunday, November 22nd. Look for more information to come in future publications.
Christmas Decorating
Following the Thanksgiving Gathering on Sunday, November 22nd volunteers are needed to help get the Christmas Decorations all in one place. This will include bringing items up from the altar care room in the basement and getting items down from the loft in the kitchenette. The actual decorating will take place on Saturday, November 28th at 12:30 pm since the season of Advent begins on Sunday, November 29th.
