“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
Her smile is infectious. Her attitude is welcoming. Her name is Julie Schoville. I sat down with Julie last week and I learned some wonderful things about her: she loves her family (husband Tom and grown son, Scott), and together they enjoy golfing, playing volleyball at the cabin and water skiing. She spends her days doing something she loves – painting. But, what really sparked our conversation were the people and ministries of All Saints. Her face lit up telling me stories about the kids at Sunday School and she considers it an honor to spend time with them each Sunday. The same passion was shown when talking about the ministry teams and all of the incredible work they are doing. The Listen Strong campaign evoked just as much enthusiasm. Julie believes that every act of volunteering is an opportunity to grow in faith. That’s inspiration for all of us.
All Saints has been a part of Julie’s life for 27 years. She considers you family! Although she knows just about everyone here, she looks forward to continuing to build relationships as council president. She wants to hear your stories, listen to your God moments. Barb Johnson and the church council did a great job communicating to the congregation. Julie intends to continue that good work.
Julie’s favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13. Indeed, Christ gives Julie the strength to serve in so many ways at All Saints. We are grateful.
These are your stories. They are worth telling.
