October is stewardship month here at All Saints Evangelical Lutheran Church. The team will use the materials from the ELCA Churchwide Synod titled, “The Joy of Generosity: Generous lives. Joyful community. God’s work together.” Each week the focus will be on a different aspect of “The Joy of Generosity”.

Dear All Saints Evangelical Lutheran Church Members and Friends,
You make a difference. We are grateful to share life and faith together with you at All Saints Evangelical Lutheran Church.
We invite you to consider how, next year, you can continue to make a difference for good in your own life, in the life of our congregation and in the life of the world. Your generous giving to All Saints Lutheran Church, combined with the generous giving of others, fuels God’s work here and helps to fulfill our mission.
We ask that you prayerfully consider growing your giving to All Saints Evangelical Lutheran Church by 1% of your household income. For most people, this is a reasonable goal. When many of us take this step, it will lead to significant results for our congregation and its ministry.
Included with this letter is a table that makes it easy to calculate a 1% increase.
- Look down the leftmost column to find your approximate household income.
- Look across the row to find the column that matches how you give — weekly, monthly or annually. The number in this column is the amount you are asked to consider for your increase for next year.
- Add this increase to your current level of giving to arrive at next year’s requested amount.
Please indicate your new giving plan by completing the commitment card enclosed in this mailing. You can complete the card and either mail it to the church office or place it in the stewardship box. We will be formally taking up commitments during worship on October 25th.
