Stewardship 2025

The stewardship campaign will be during the month of October. The theme for this years’ stewardship campaign is “Go Tell the World: 4 Traits of a Life of Stewardship” which gives a glimpse into just what it takes to steward a whole life of faith by examining four aspects of discipleship as it relates to life, money, and community.

Based on the Revised Common Lectionary texts for the month of October, the resources explore faith, gratitude, persistence, and humility all while naming and claiming the baptismal call to tell the world of God’s love in Jesus Christ.

Please have the estimate of giving cards returned to the church no later than this Sunday, November 2, 2025. The council will use these cards to help build the budget for the 2026 budget year.

Week #4

HUMILITY

2 Timothy 4: 6-8, 16-18 and Luke 18: 9-14

1. What were you taught about humility? How does this match with the scripture lesson?

2. How might giving of yourself, your time, and your possessions out of humility change the way you feel about generosity?

3. Who do you know that you consider to be humble? What do you notice about them?

4. How has God used humble people to make a difference in the world?

5. What gifts has God given you? How might you, in humility, steward these for the sake of the world?

God of mercy and love, your grace is for all who call on you. Renew our spirits so that we may give of ourselves to others, and that the gifts of ourselves, our time, and our possessions invite others to your table of abundance.
