Food Pantry & Clothing

Food Pantry & Clothing Closet Weekly Food Load

Every Friday volunteers are needed to help pick up the food order from River Bend Food Bank at 8:30 am (contact Anne).  Volunteers are needed at church to help unload the vehicles that were loaded at River Bend Food Bank and to stock the shelves and other areas at 9:00 am at All Saints.

Note: The second Friday of the month is usually the delivery by River Bend Food Bank to the church, and it is a large order!

Food Pantry & Clothing Closet Donations

Donations are accepted on Fridays 9 – 11 am and Saturdays 9 – 10 am. Monetary donations may be mailed to the church office.

Saturdays

They are open to the public from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturdays. Several volunteers are needed during this time to help.

Three23co – homeschool group

Three23co will be meeting once a week in the gathering space of the church. They use the space from 8 am to 12 pm every Tuesday for the 2025-2026 school year (September – March). Please be aware of their class time (8:30 – 11:30 am) and do not disturb them. They will be utilizing the gathering space and perhaps the outside church lawn/lower parking lot for recess time when the weather permits.        

Note: Monday, April 13th they will use the gathering space from 5 – 9 pm for their end of the year program.

Fit4Mom – Stroller Strides Class

Fit4Mom – Stroller Strides Class will meet every Tuesday in the fellowship hall from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. For more information about this group, visit their website: www.quadcities.fit4mom.com

West Music Company, Music Therapy – SoundReach Choir

Sound Reach is a vocal music-making opportunity for groups or individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities. The group will rehearse on Tuesdays from 5:45 – 6:30 pm in the sanctuary at church for their spring session (03.03.2026 – 05.12.2025). Note: The end of the spring session concert will be on Tuesday, May 12th at 5:45 pm in the sanctuary – all are welcome to attend!

Council Meeting

The council will meet Tuesday, April 14th at 6 pm in the church library.

From the Worship Ministry Team

Carpet Cleaning:All the carpets on the main floor will be cleaned/shampooed next Wednesday morning April 15th. Please try to avoid being at church on this day so the workers can work and the carpets have a chance to dry thoroughly.

Rhythm City Casino Event (April)

All Saints Lutheran Church will be volunteering at the Ron White event on Saturday, April 25th. The show begins at 6 pm so volunteers need to arrive by 4:15 pm.

All Saints Lutheran Church has a fun opportunity to volunteer at Rhythm City Casino (7077 Elmore Ave, Davenport, IA 52807) and earn $500 (donation from Rhythm City Casino) for each event. Volunteers should be at least 18 years of age.

  • Number of volunteers (do not need to be members of All Saints – invite your friends)
    • 8-12 volunteers (ideally at least 10)
  • Dress Code
    • white shirt and dark dress pants (no ripped jeans, shorts, etc.)
  • Arrive 30-45 minutes prior to doors opening (doors open 1 hour prior to event)
    •  to get a layout of the room, receive your vest, badge, etc.
  • Responsibilities
    • Ushering: Showing guests to their seats (The end of every aisle is labelled, and signs are posted to show each section).
    • Doors: One person will scan tickets, and one person will mark hands at each open door (1 – 3 doors depending on the crowd)
    • Monitor room: Volunteers are present in the room in case a guest has a question or needs guidance. One – Two people will stand at the door to check hands as guests go in and out to assure they purchased a ticket to attend
    • Seats: Depending on the show, volunteers would stack chairs once the event ends

Worship Planning Meeting

The worship planning team will meet Wednesday, May 6th at 4:30 pm in the church library. They will plan the season of Pentecost: Summer (May 24, 2026 – August 30, 2026).

Rhythm City Casino Event (May)

All Saints Lutheran Church will be volunteering at the Stephen Pearcy Concert on Friday, May 29th. The show begins at 8 pm so volunteers need to arrive by 6:15 pm. There is a sign-up sheet on the kiosk in the gathering space.
