Stewardship 2025

The stewardship campaign will be during the month of October. The theme for this years’ stewardship campaign is “Go Tell the World: 4 Traits of a Life of Stewardship” which gives a glimpse into just what it takes to steward a whole life of faith by examining four aspects of discipleship as it relates to life, money, and community.

Based on the Revised Common Lectionary texts for the month of October, the resources explore faith, gratitude, persistence, and humility all while naming and claiming the baptismal call to tell the world of God’s love in Jesus Christ.

A mailing will be made during the week of October 5, 2025. If you do not receive a mailing and would like one, please let the office know and the Director of Communications will get the items mailed to you.

Please have the estimate of giving cards returned to the church no later than Sunday, November 2, 2025. The council will use these cards to help build the budget for the 2026 budget year.

Week #3

Go Tell the World: 4 Traits of a Life of Stewardship

PERSISTENCE: 2 Timothy 3:14-4:5 and Luke 18: 1-8

1. In what ways have you been persistent in your life?

2. How have you seen persistence in others?

3. What can you learn about resilience and persistence from people living on the margins or oppressed by society?

4. In what ways are you tempted to give up on God’s promises?

5. How might you think about persistence in faith differently?

God of justice and mercy, you hear the cries of your children, and you persist in coming to earth. Give us persistence in our hope that your promises will be fulfilled. Help us to steward our gifts so that the oppressed and marginalized find justice and help us to persist in sharing the Good News with the world.
