The stewardship campaign will be during the month of October. The theme for this years’ stewardship campaign is “Go Tell the World: 4 Traits of a Life of Stewardship” which gives a glimpse into just what it takes to steward a whole life of faith by examining four aspects of discipleship as it relates to life, money, and community.
Based on the Revised Common Lectionary texts for the month of October, the resources explore faith, gratitude, persistence, and humility all while naming and claiming the baptismal call to tell the world of God’s love in Jesus Christ.
A mailing will be made during the week of October 5, 2025. If you do not receive a mailing and would like one, please let the office know and the Director of Communications will get the items mailed to you.
Please have the estimate of giving cards returned to the church no later than Sunday, November 2, 2025. The council will use these cards to help build the budget for the 2026 budget year.
Week #2
Go Tell the World: 4 Traits of a Life of Stewardship
GRATITUDE: 2 Timothy 2:8-15 and Luke 17:11-16
1. In the Gospel text, the Samaritan was made clean but was healed when he turned back to give thanks. Have you ever experienced a change in attitude that truly transformed you?
2. Have you ever witnessed someone else who experienced a change in attitude that was transforming?
3. How does giving out of gratitude feel different from giving out of duty?
4. For what things in your life are you grateful?
5. How does your gratitude to God affect your generosity?
God of abundance, you have given the world everything we need. Draw us to the foot of the cross where, in Christ, we find healing and wholeness and send us from there to proclaim your grace. Help us to keep our life rooted firmly in you through the power of the Holy Spirit.
