Devotionals

There is a Lent devotional and calendar available in the gathering space as well as the quarterly “Our Daily Bread” devotional booklets.

The Synod also has a study titled “reimagine” available. You can sign up to receive the email daily during the season of Lent at https://seiasynod.org/lent/

From the Office

The Director of Communications requests that articles and/or announcements for the e-weekly are to the office by Mondays at 9 am and articles and/or announcements for the Sunday worship bulletin are to the office by Thursdays at 9 am. Please call the office and leave a message (563-359-9516) or email the office (office@allsaintsdavenport.org).

In an effort to keep the prayer list up to date, let the office know when you would like to add or remove names from the list.

Food Pantry and Clothing Closet Information

The food pantry continues to be one of the busiest food pantries in the Quad Cities! For the past several months, the food pantry & clothing closet have served over 100 families each week. The Food Pantry & Clothing Closet are open every Saturday from 11 am – 1 pm, even holiday weekends.

Donations needed:

  • toilet paper
  • bars of individually wrapped soap
  • laundry detergent
  • peanut butter
  • spaghetti sauce & noodles
  • canned soups
  • canned fruits & vegetables
  • plastic grocery bags
  • money to purchase items
  • clothing in all sizes
  • blankets & towels

Non-monetary donations are received Fridays between 9:30 and 10:00 am, Saturdays between 10:30 am and 1:00 pm, or Sundays between 9:15 am and 11:15 am. If these times don’t work call Bonnie, Anne, or the office to coordinate. If you would like to donate monetarily, please send a check to All Saints Lutheran Church (5002 Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport, IA 52807) with food pantry marked on the memo line.

Summer Camps

It is the time of year to be thinking about summer camps for your family & children. The church has received several flyers about various camps in the state. Many of these camps fill up quickly!

They are hanging in on the bulletin board in the office hallway.

If you know of others, let the office know and they will be added.
