Food Pantry and Clothing Closet
The food pantry continues to be one of the busiest food pantries in the Quad Cities! The Food Pantry & Clothing Closet are open every Saturday from 11 am – 1 pm, even holiday weekends.
Thank you for all the volunteers who work tirelessly each week whether that is when we are open to the public or during the week to prepare.
We would greatly appreciate help unloading this Friday, June 10 at 9:15 am to unload food from Riverbend Food Bank. The food pantry is in need of toilet paper, spaghetti sauce, and canned tuna.
Confirmation
Confirmation class will meet through June 12th at 9:00 am in the library.
The confirmation students began meeting October 2020. Since then, they have been led through the series titled “colaborate Lutheran Confirmation”, which is a four unit series (Unit 1 – Old Testament, Unit 2 – Lutheran History & Catechism, Unit 3 – New Testament, and Unit 4 – Lutheran Living) by Pastor Pokora, Laura, and Wanda!
This Sunday they Affirm their Baptism by being confirmed during worship. Plan on attending worship and celebrating this milestone in their faith.
Sunday Morning Worship
Please join us for worship at 10 am on Sunday, June 12th for The Holy Trinity. Micah and Kaylee will Affirm their Baptism during the worship service. Plan on attending and staying for fellowship time after worship to celebrate with them.
All worship services are offered in-person at 10:00 am in the sanctuary or via Facebook Live (https://www.facebook.com/allsaintsdavenport ). The worship service can be watched at a later time on the church’s YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCS2ArtcS2DWdwFD1gYXSBng/featured ) or the church’s Facebook newsfeed.
QC Studio Z
Zumba offers classes in the fellowship hall three times a week. The class schedule is Mondays 5:45 – 6:45 pm, Wednesdays 5:45 – 6:45 pm, and Saturdays 9:30 – 10:30 am. Contact Sara if you would like more information or visit their website: http://www.qcstudioz.com/
Council Meeting
The council will meet on Tuesday, June 14th at 5:15 pm for their monthly meeting in the library at All Saints Lutheran Church.
