Sunday, November 7 at 2:00 am Day Light Savings Time ends, so you need to fall back one hour. Don’t forget to change your clocks (if they do not automatically change) before you head to bed on Saturday, November 6.
Worship
Sunday worship at All Saints Lutheran Church is offered in-person at 10:00 am in the sanctuary. The worship service will continue to be live streamed on Facebook Live and later uploaded to YouTube if you prefer to worship in your home. Masks are recommended inside the building regardless of COVID vaccination status.
All Saints Sunday
All Saints Sunday is November 7 and All Saints Lutheran Church will remember those who have gone before us through a remembrance service during Sunday morning worship. There is a clipboard on the kiosk in the gathering space to sign your loved one’s names that you would like to have read during this special remembrance. After the names are read, you are invited to light a candle on the heart board.
Kids Against Hunger Project
Sunday, November 7 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm you are invited to help pack meals for those who are hungry. This event will take place in the fellowship hall.
An excerpt from the Kids Against Hunger website:
“The unplanned, but very real beneficiaries of Kids Against Hunger are the volunteers who package the food. The manual food packaging process not only feeds many children and families, it also bring satisfaction and deep engagement to the volunteers who package it. For most volunteers, it is the ultimate hands-on contribution that, because of its simplicity, individuals from age 8 to 80 can perform. Volunteers from all walks of life and society: schools, churches, civic, scouting troops, neighborhood kids and families package the food for distribution to starving people all over the world.”

Sunday School
Sunday school will meet every Sunday at 9:00 am for children ages Pre-K – 6th grade.
Food Pantry and Clothing Closet
The food pantry continues to be one of the busiest food pantries in the Quad Cities! Thank you for all the volunteers who work tirelessly each week.
The Food Pantry & Clothing Closet are open every Saturday from 11 am – 1 pm. Please sign up on the clipboard located on the kiosk in the gathering space for the day(s) you are helping.
If you are not able to help on Fridays or Saturdays but would like to volunteer other times during the week, please contact Anne or Bonnie to coordinate.
Worship Planning Meeting
The Worship Planning Team will meet Monday, November 8 at 5:00 pm to plan the seasons of Advent and Christmas.
Fit4Mom Quad Cities
Fit4Mom will meet for a Stroller Strides class on Tuesdays in the fellowship hall from 5:30 – 6:30 pm.
Council Meeting
The Council will meet on Tuesday, November 16 at 5:00 pm.
Thanksgiving Worship
There will be a Thanksgiving Worship service on Tuesday, November 23 at 7:00 pm at All Saints Lutheran Church. This service will be offered in-person and via Facebook Live. There will be desert following worship in the gathering space.
