Please continue to pray for Bob Doerscher’s speedy rehab while he is recovering from pneumonia at Manor Care on Utica Ridge Rd where he was transferred Monday afternoon after his hospitalization. He will be getting therapy at the Nursing Home, and we pray it will restore some of his strength. Shirley and the family wish to express their thanks for your prayers and concern during the terribly stressful times this past week. Please continue to keep Bob, Shirley & the family in your prayers.
Thank you, survey-takers! On Palm/Passion Sunday, 29 All Saints people completed “Rekindling All Saints” surveys, which will inform the up-coming one-on-one listening campaign. Consensus emerged around the community and family feeling drawing people to the congregation and around seeing an opportunity to strengthen All Saints’ connection with its neighborhood and become better known in the community. Thanks for your feedback! You’ll hear more soon.
One-to-One Training: on Sat, Apr 20, 11 All Saints’ people attended training with QCI on one-to-one conversations. What are those? Well, just wait. Someone from that team of 11 may be in touch with you soon, inviting you to a one-to-one conversation—an intentional conversation with one agenda: getting to know you better!
Sun May 5 Spring Congregational Meeting: Let’s celebrate All Saints’ ministries and elect new leaders! The meeting will begin at 12:30pm, after a Cinco de Mayo themed potluck downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. All are invited: your voice and presence matter! (Plus members get a vote.)
Pastor Gloria Dovre will visit All Saints on Sunday, May 12. She will be present for worship, for a forum in the Fellowship Hall at 9am, and for informal conversation after worship.
MVRBC Blood Drive at All Saints: Wednesday, May 29, 3:30-6:30 pm. All presenting donors will receive double IMPACT points to our Donor Loyalty store, a free T-shirt – designed by me 🙂 – and entry into our weekly $100 gas card drawing! The last date to donate elsewhere and still be eligible for our blood drive was Wed., April 3. Thank you, Stephanie Sampiller
