Alleluia Lutheran Church Youth Group to be at All Saints Lutheran Church
Kurtis, the Youth Director, reached out to All Saints Lutheran Church earlier this month to see if Alleluia Lutheran Church (ELCA) would be able to learn about our ministries and help the church out in any way they could. They were on a mission trip to eastern Iowa this year and were searching for places of accompaniment.
Kurtis defined accompaniment this way: “One of the things that our greater church taught us is that serving just to serve is great, but accompaniment includes service, learning, and being with those who serve and if possible, those who are served by the organization.”
So, Kurtis and the youth group from Alleluia Lutheran Church in Naperville, IL, met with Marilyn & Anne in the Food Pantry & Clothing Closet on Tuesday, June 30th from 1 – 4 pm.
During this time, they learned about what we are doing for the community through the food pantry & clothing closet as well as work on prepping to be open on July 4th.
Let us pray for the group as they travel for their 2026 Mission Trip and walk alongside various organizations.

It has come to our attention that, on several occasions, doors have been left unlocked or opened after use. We want to gently remind everyone of the importance of ensuring the building is fully secured before leaving. Please take a minute to check that ALL doors are properly closed and locked each time you exit. This will help ensure the safety of our staff, members, and the church property.

Do you play an instrument or sing? Would you like to help lead all or part of worship on Sunday morning? If so, contact the church’s Director of Music Ministries, Matt, or the church office.
From the Director of Communications (church office)
Do you know someone that should be added to the prayers? Are there other items you would like to see in the church’s publications? This could be events you are involved with, theater shows, concerts, et cetera. Do you have an announcement or article that you would like included in future publications? Please submit the information to the office by 8 am on Mondays so the Director of Communications can plan their work week (remember they don’t have set office hours).
