Food Pantry & Clothing Closet

Weekly Food Load

Volunteers are needed on Fridays to help pick up the food order from River Bend Food Bank at 8:30 am and to unload and put away the order at 9:00 am at All Saints.

Please note that on the 2^nd Friday of the month, River Bend Food Bank delivers the Iowa Commodities load as well as the food order for the week. This is typically a large load, and many workers are needed to help at 9:00 am at the church.

Food Pantry & Clothing Closet Donations

Donations are accepted on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 – 11 am. Monetary donations may be mailed to the church office.

Saturdays

The food pantry & clothing closet serves 150+ families (average of 4 people per household) each week. They are open to the public from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturdays. Several volunteers are needed during this time to serve as well as throughout the week to prepare.

Worship

Please join us for worship every Sunday at 10 am followed by fellowship time.

The Synod Authorized Minister (SAM) preaching schedule for the month is Wanda Barber (10.05.2025 & 10.19.2025) and Matthew Reece (10.12.2025 & 10.26.2025).

ELCA News

The installation of the new presiding bishop, Rev. Yehiel Curry, is open to the public, with no tickets required, on Saturday, October 4^th. Doors will open at 1 pm and worship will begin at 2 pm, followed by a public reception at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

For those unable to attend in person, the service will be livestreamed.

CROP HUNGER WALK 2025

The 54^th Annual Quad City Area CROP Hunger Walk will be on Sunday, October 5^th! The walk begins at the Caxton Building/Bethany for Children & Families (1701 River Drive, Molin, IL) with a check-in time from 1 – 2 pm with the walk begins at 2:15 pm. 

Anne Holtan will collect donations and plans to walk. See the kiosk in the gathering space or Anne for more information.

Church Property Workday

All Saints Lutheran Church will have a workday on Saturday, October 11^th from 9 am – 4 pm. Please come anytime during this time to help spruce up the church property. Contact Marilyn for more information.

Church Council Meeting

The church council will meet Wednesday, October 15^th at 6 pm for their monthly meeting.
