Volunteers are needed…

… to help in the food pantry and clothing closet

i.e. prepare the food pantry and clothing closet by hanging clothing, preparing food boxes, load and unload the food delivery on Fridays, and help on Saturdays while the food pantry and clothing closet are open to the public

Note: Bonnie will be working in the clothing closet on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week and she would love help! This past week we received over 50 bags worth of donations that need to be hung and set out.

… to help keep the property maintained

i.e. inside and outside of the property welcoming and well maintained this includes the lawn, landscaping, memorial garden, as well as the general maintenance and upkeep inside the building

… to volunteer at a Rhythm City Casino Event (7077 Elmore Ave, Davenport, IA 52807)

This is an opportunity for the church members and friends to volunteer Friday, August 15^th for the Tracy Lawrence event. There are currently 5 people who have signed up, but we need 5-7 more adults. We need a group of 8-12 people to usher, take tickets at the door, monitor the room, and put chairs away at the end of the show. Rhythm City Casino will then donate $500 to All Saints Lutheran Church which will be placed in the Helping Hand Fund.
