1. The semi annual congregation meeting that was originally scheduled for May 7, 2023, which is primarily for elections and celebrations has been postponed and will be combined with the semi annual congregation meeting in December 2023 which is generally to approve the following calendar years budget.
2. After the council met with Pastor Erika Uthe, Director for Evangelical Mission / Assistant to the Bishop for Congregational Vitality of the Southeastern Iowa Synod on Tuesday, May 9^th we have made the decision to take a leap of faith and try something new for the summer. Beginning Sunday, May 28^th, the Day of Pentecost, the worship service will be a praise (contemporary) worship service. The service will remain at 10 am. The council welcomes and encourages feedback during this time and will carefully consider our next steps with a clear purpose and our eyes on the cross. We are called to go and make disciples of all nations.
3. You are invited to gather Wednesday, June 14^th at 6 pm with Pastor Erika Uthe, Director for Evangelical Mission / Assistant to the Bishop for Congregational Vitality of the Southeastern Iowa Synod.
