Christ is our Light and Hope
In the season of Advent, we begin a new church year just as the daylight hours reach their shortest and wintry weather blows in. During this time of physical darkness, we are sometimes affected by the shorter days and longer nights emotionally and spiritually. Advent is a time to remember the promised light of Jesus: light that is on its way and anxiously anticipated, and light that already surrounds us with grace and peace.
As we transition into the Christmas season, the light of Christ surrounds and fills us anew with joy and hope. All Saints is a giving congregation. We seek to share Christ’s light and hope with our neighbors by helping to meet the basic needs of our community. In this season of giving, may we shine brightly with the light and hope of our promised Savior, Jesus Christ.
