Hy-Vee Reusable Bag Program
All Saints Lutheran Church Food Pantry & Clothing Closet has been selected by local Hy-Vee store leadership as the benefiting non-profit in the Reusable Bag Program!
For the month of November, All Saints Lutheran Church Food Pantry & Clothing Closet will receive a $1 donation from each purchase of the $2.50 reusable red “My Heart” Bag at the Hy-Vee store located at 1823 East Kimberly Road, Davenport IA.
Confirmation Class
Confirmation class will meet Sundays, November 15 & 22 after worship. Class is led by Pastor Pokora.
Worship Information for November 15 – 24th Sunday after Pentecost
We will gather for the worship service at 10:00 am inside the sanctuary. Please remember to practice the 3W’s (wear a mask, watch your spacing, and wash/sanitize your hands often).
The worship service will still be broadcast via Facebook Live and later uploaded to YouTube if you prefer to worship at home.

Bible Study
There will be a Bible Study on Wednesdays via Zoom at 7:00 pm. Learn about the Biblical lessons for the coming Sunday and enjoy fellowship with others.

Stewardship
Stewardship information was handed out this past Sunday, November 8. If you were at worship, you should have been handed a packet. If you didn’t attend in-person worship this past Sunday, the packet was sent to you via the USPS. The Stewardship Committee would like the pledge cards returned no later than Sunday, November 22. You may either bring the pledge card to church and place it in the offering plate or you may mail it to church in the envelop that was included with the packet.
Help needed for upgrade in the food pantry
The All Saints Food Pantry was awarded a grant from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land
Stewardship for the purchase of two commercial grade refrigerators. Before we have them installed, we are going to remove the old carpet in the two adjoining rooms and have new commercial grade carpet installed.
We are asking for the congregations help to move everything out of those two rooms after church service on November 15th. This will include racks of food, freezers, refrigerators, and shelving. On Friday, November 20th at 9:00 a.m. we will need help to put everything back for the food pantry on Saturday. If you have any questions, please call or text Bonnie at 563-370-7076.

Sunday, November 22
Volunteers are needed after worship for 15 – 30 minutes to get decorations down from the loft in the kitchenette and store in the stairwell in preparation of decorating the church for the Advent/Christmas season.
Thanksgiving Worship
There will be a Thanksgiving Worship Service Tuesday, November 22 at 7:00 pm.
Church Decorating
Volunteers are needed on Saturday, November 28 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm to decorate the church for the seasons of Advent and Christmas.
Food Pantry & Clothing Closet
Did you know that the All Saints Lutheran Church Food Pantry & Clothing Closet is one of the busiest in the Quad Cities? It takes numerous people to volunteer to make this ministry happen. People are needed to not only volunteer when the food pantry & clothing closet are open on Saturdays, but various days throughout the week. If you can help sometime throughout the week talk to Bonnie, Anne, or Sheryn to coordinate.
Every Friday volunteers are needed to help unload food from RiverBend Food Bank from 9:30 – 10:30 am at All Saints. We have a great crew that picks up the loads from RiverBend on a weekly basis!
