Lent is a season of reflection, repentance, and renewal. During this season, we hear stories of Jesus’ life and ministry. Moments and miracles from our savior’s journey inspire us to draw closer to God as we follow.

We also hear from the prophets of God, sharing the promises of God with the people of God. We see the many ways that God has ever been faithful, becoming fully present with us in the person of Jesus Christ.

In our baptism, we encounter Jesus’ death and resurrection. During this season, we reflect on the sinfulness that draws us away from God, seeking to repent and turn back to God’s loving embrace. 

With our eyes on the cross, hope in our hearts, and trust in God’s promises, we lift up our Lenten prayer: Breath of God, help me live again.
