CROP Hunger Walk

188 walkers participated in the 2018 Crop Walk raising $45,796.41!!! The Quad cities ranks 18th nationwide on the amount of money raised. Over $11,000 stays in the QCA going to places like River Bend Food Bank, Christian Care Center, Humility of Mary, Churches United & other places. Lenny Blue of Kansas City Crop Walk Midwest region was the keynote speaker at the last meeting. Crop Walk is not just global work, although they help transform communities around the world.

Bridge to Bridge is this year’s theme – this year’s Walk will be October 6th. It’s the 48th year of our QC Walk & 50th Anniversary of Crop Walk Nationwide. C.R.O.P. means: Community Responding Overcoming Poverty.
