Together in Christ Parish
The Together in Christ Parish is made up of All Saints Lutheran Church in Davenport, Iowa and St. James Lutheran Church in Bettendorf, Iowa. Both are served by the same pastor and both have made a commitment to share ministry in the community to better live out our faith.
Pastor Amy’s Office Hours
+ Pastor Amy will not be in the office(s) on Mondays, but please don’t hesitate to contact her via phone (662.292.6185) in case of emergencies.
+ Tuesday 1:00 – 5:00 pm and Thursday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at All Saints
+ Wednesday and Friday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at St. James
+ Tuesday mornings (9:00 am – 1:00 pm) and Wednesday – Friday afternoons (from 1:00 – 5:00 pm) are times Pastor Amy will have appointments, visit shut-ins, do hospital visits, meetings, etc. and flexible as to which church she will be in.
+ Saturdays will be reserved for special projects and Pastor Amy will be available by appointment.
Note: Pastor Amy will be out of town Friday, August 2 – 5, 2018.
“The Shack”
A viewing of “The Shack” will be on Friday, August 17th at All Saints Lutheran Church. Gathering and conversation at 6:30 pm, the movie the will start 7:00 pm. All are welcome to this event, even if you have never read the book. The movie is a great example of how God is present in tragedy, just be aware it does contain some very tragic scenarios. It is rated PG-13.
Guest Preacher
Pastor Amy will be out of town Friday, August 2 thru August 5. On Sunday, August 5th Deacon Terese TouVelle will be the guest preacher at both worship services so there will not be Holy Communion. Instead there will be a service of healing and anointing integrated into the worship service.
