Good Soil project

January 26th, 2012

In groups of two or three called “Good Soil Groups,” we are reading the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts, two chapters a week.

It’s part of our intentional effort to open ourselves to the seed of God’s Word, so God can grow us, our congregation, and our ministry in Davenport and beyond.

You can form your own group, or email Pastor Clark. Invite a partner or two. Meet once a week–anywhere, anytime–for an hour at most. Read the two chapters beforehand, and while you’re together, get to know each other better, talk about what you read, and pray.

Still curious? Want some guidance as you read and meet? Hope to go deeper into Luke and Acts? Visit our Good Soil project blog. It’s a place to be inspired.

There you’ll find answers to common Good Soil questions and a place to ask any question and get an answer. You’ll also find a Good Soil reading schedule, introductions to each week’s chapters, art inspired by them, and a place to share and hear stories from other Good Soil groups.
