Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are needed…
… during the week to prepare the food pantry and clothing closet, load and unload the food delivery on Fridays, as well as on Saturdays while the food pantry and clothing closet are open to the public.
… to help keep the lawn, landscaping, property inside and outside, and garden looking great and welcoming.
… volunteers are needed every week to help with worship. The needs are: Assisting Minister, Projection Operator, Sound Board Operator, Camera Operator, Attendance Tracking, Offering Helpers, Altar Care, Counters, Communion Helpers, Musicians, Children’s Message, Fellowship Time Treats, Fellowship Time Set-up & Clean-up. If you are able to help, please sign up on the clipboards located on the kiosk in the gathering space or contact the church (office@allsaintsdavenport.org).

Opportunity to volunteer at Rhythm City Casino (7077 Elmore Ave, Davenport, IA 52807)
This would be a great opportunity for the church to volunteer at a fun event. We would need a group of 8-12 people to usher, take tickets at the door, monitor the room, and put chairs away at the end of the show. Rhythm City will then donate $500 to All Saints.
The dates that are currently available (as of March 26th) are:
May 9 (Tropicalisimo Apache ft. Grupo Control)
July 26 (Gary Allen)
August 15 (Tracy Lawrence)
September 26 (Unannounced Comedian).
Currently there are 5 people signed up to volunteer on August 15th. We could use 5-7 more adults for that date.
Please see Julie with questions and sign up on the clipboard located on the kiosk in the gathering space as soon as possible so that All Saints can secure the date(s) with Rhythm City Casino as this opportunity is a first come first serve basis.
Donation Opportunities
If you would like to donate to a specific fund, please write your check to All Saints Lutheran Church and specify on the memo line the specific fund’s name otherwise all money not designated will be put toward the church’s general/undesignated fund.

If you are unable to attend worship in person, please consider sending your monetary gift through the mail to the church (5002 Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport, IA 52807).
… Helping Hands Fund
All Saints Lutheran Church has established a “Helping Hands” fund to help families in need. If you would like to donate to this fund, please indicate “Helping Hands” on the memo line.
… Food Pantry Discretionary Fund
There is a newly established designated fund. It is called the Food Pantry Discretionary Fund. This fund would cover any expenses that individuals might need other than food i.e. gas money, hotel money, et cetera.
… Royal Ball Run for Autism Donation through All Saints
All Saints Lutheran Church will be collecting monetary donations for Royal Ball Run during April and May. When you donate to this organization through church, the church is then listed as a Royal Supporter on the back of thousands of tee shirts that are given out in June to Royal Ball Run Racers and Volunteers. Please mark your donation as Royal Ball. At the end of May, the church will write one check to the Royal Ball Run organization.
