CROP Hunger Walk

Special Webinar
Thursday, Feb 27
7:30 p.m. ET
“To do in partnership what none of us could hope to do as well alone.”
This guiding principle lies at the heart of our shared work with CROP Hunger Walks.
Recent policy shifts and funding changes from the current administration have left a massive gap in support, severely impacting CWS programs and putting vulnerable communities, here and abroad, at risk.
CROP Hunger Walks are at the center of CWS’s work. They embody our shared values of faith, hope and compassion. During these uncertain times, we need that now more than ever.
As the situation continues to evolve, we want to share how critical the circumstances are for vulnerable communities and how vital your support through your CROP Hunger Walk is right now.
Together, we can make a difference.
That is why I am inviting you to join CWS and CROP supporters from across the country for a special webinar on Thursday, February 27th at 7:30pm EST.
Click here to register and receive the Zoom link.
CROP Hunger Walks provide flexible funding that can be used wherever it is most needed, like:
- Supplying immediate disaster relief (food, water, shelter)
- Providing welcome and agricultural programs that ensure long-term food security and self-sustainability.
Now more than ever, we need to stand in solidarity with communities in need. Your CROP Walk can keep hope alive. By registering, starting a team, and fundraising early, we can help ensure we continue serving those who need us most.
In peace,
Sincerely,
Jon Skogen
CWS National Community Engagement Manager

It takes a village …
Thank You …
… to all who help lead worship on Sunday mornings.
… to all those who helped tend the garden, lawn, and landscaping at church this past year. We appreciate you for doing these sometimes mundane, never-ending tasks.
… Bonnie and Kristen, for getting the grants written and submitted. It takes a lot of work, but All Saints wouldn’t be able to continue helping food insecure families without that work to receive funding.
… for the grants that have been awarded to the All Saints Lutheran Church Food Pantry in the past year! We thank SCRA, Bettendorf Rotary, Doris & Victor Day Foundation, ELCA World Hunger, and many more.
… to the financial team for once again doing an excellent job of keeping track of the church’s financials for the year!
… to all the volunteers that help not only on Saturdays but throughout the week in the food pantry and clothing closet.
… goes out to Bonnie Strittmater, Brenda Sehmann, and Anne Holtan for their tireless efforts in keeping the food pantry and clothing closet running smoothly every week. We appreciate you and all of the volunteers. All Saints Lutheran Church Council
