Dear God our Father, This Thanksgiving we gather together to give You thanks and praise for all the good things in this world. We know all good things come from You, including our home. Forgive us when we take for granted Your gifts of food and shelter, for we know some people struggle with finding a place to call home.

Use us to help others. Help us show Your loving care and concern for Your people here on earth. Help us bring the good news of Jesus to those who may never hear of Him and His love otherwise. Give us the strength and determination to do good in Your name.

Father, help those who are hurting, lonely, struggling with life and searching for direction find those who are passionate about You and willing to show Your love and strength. Bless them. Bless us. Bless this country we call home.
