Volunteer Opportunities

Sign-up Sheets

There are many opportunities to serve God by opening our hearts, opening our hands, and opening our lives. Are you able to help in the All Saints garden, food pantry, clothing closet, as assisting minister, usher, etc.? If so, please sign-up on the “Many Hands Make Light Work!” wall in the gathering space. What is Jesus calling you to do? Get busy and proclaim the gospel!

Thank you and Help needed

On behalf of the All Saints Food Pantry I would like to give a huge Thank YOU to Barb and Paul Johnson for all that they have done for many years at the Food Pantry. Barb has worked diligently, professionally and compassionately for the mission of feeding, clothing and touching the hearts of people in need. Due to health issues, Barb and Paul will not be able to deliver the left-over bread from Hy-Vee to churches or a shelter as they have been doing for many years.

Each Saturday we pick up soon to be outdated bread and sweets from the Bettendorf Hy-Vee and offer it to all who come to the Food Pantry. What is leftover (yes, there is usually enough to feed all and have leftovers) has been delivered by Barb and Paul Johnson to a shelter. We are asking for a volunteer(s) to pick up a few boxes of bread from All Saints after 3:00 on Saturday or after church on Sunday and deliver it to the Humility of Mary Shelter, 1016 W. 5th Street, Davenport.

Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to volunteer to deliver the bread.

Thank you,
Bonnie Strittmater

Clothing Closet Workday

There will be a clothing closet workday on Saturday, July 15th from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm. If you are able to help, please sign-up on the clipboard located in the gathering space or just show up. Remember, Many Hands Make Light Work!

Memorial Service

There will be a Memorial Service held on Friday, July 28th at 10:30 am for Mike Welch (Charter Member). A luncheon directly following the service will be held in the fellowship hall. Please see the clip board in the gathering space to sign-up to help (set-up, assemble sandwiches, donate salads or desserts, help serve, and clean-up). See Anne Holtan if you have any questions. Anne is planning on setting up and assembling the sandwiches on Thursday, July 27th beginning at 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall Many Hands Make Light Work!

Sunday school Teacher(s) Needed

Are you interested in teaching Children’s Sunday school or Adult Sunday school during the 2017-2018 school year? If so, contact a member of the Proclamation Ministry Team (Scott Holtan, Laura McCreery, and Pat Howell).
